I layered the ribbon to create the center border, added a little Stickles,

and colored her with my Bic Mark-It Alls.

We Are Champions!!!!!

Plainfield South High School Boys Varsity Bowling..........Illinois State Champions!!!!

That's right, we placed first this weekend at St. Clair Lanes in O'Fallon, Illinois to take first place in the IHSA State Bowling Championship.

Let's Go Cougars.....Let's Go!

I am so proud of my son and his teammates.  This win is bittersweet, back in December we lost a dear friend and teammate. 

Eric Brander (Sr.) was killed in a car accident on his way to school. 

Our boys were devistated after the loss but rallied back to win the Illinois State Championship.

I created a circle punch border using my Creative Memories Circle Cutting system and added a layered flower accent.  The photo boxes will fit a 4x4 photo.

Teddy Stampers Challenge 3 - Dry Embossing

It's time for another Teddy Stampers Challenge. 

Our challenge for you is to create a card or project using dry embossing and any teddy bear image.

I used  Ildi Co. Cuddles Kuma Shepard digi image.

 The background is embossed using Cuttlebug swirls embossing folder, inked the edges of the pink oval in brown and added felt flowers and ribbon.

Summer Scrapbooking Borders

My wonderful friend and Crafty Critter blog buddie Melanie is hosting a Title Border Swap on SCS.

Here are the deets....

*Create 2, 12x2 (minimum size) borders. One must have the title on it that you sign up for. (I signed up in the Four Seasons group.) Your borders must be created with cardstock and have atleast 1 embelishment.

*Create 2 accent pieces that are a minimum of 3x3 in size. Please use atleast 1 embelishement and base with card stock.

I used my Alphalicous and Walk in my Garden Cricut carts to create my borders. This is the first time I used this stamp and LOVE IT!!! I think it will add a nice touch to any summer scrapbook layout.
