I am so excited to be hosting the next blog challenge. The challenge was to create a card with a few of my favorite things....

1 - Use SCS Card Sketch 180, click here I love the sketch gallery, it gives us lots of inspiration

2 - Use pink and brown color combo, my fav color combo, as some of you know

3 - Include a flower on your card, it can be in your DP, a brad, diecut, prima, etc. I am always using flowers in my scrapbooking and card making.

4 - Use the image of your choice.

My wonderful daughter will be 4 on March 30 and this is her bithday card. She loves pink, just like her mommy.

Thanks for looking and playing along in my challenge.

Weekend Crop

I recently went on a weekend crop with a friend from work, Ginne and Ginne's best friend Shelly. We had a GREAT time! I went with a plan and made 33 layouts. YES!!! 33!!!!! It feels so good to get the photos out of the box and into the albums. Here are just a few of my favorite layouts.

Elements Secret Sister Swap

Happy Day! I am in a Elements Secret Sister Swap hosted by Melanie (mnewby, SCS). My SS was Carla Madden and she sent a wonderful package of goodies. She sent a lovely 4x6 double arylic frame atlered into a desk top post-it note holder and calendar. Plus 3 bottles of Stickles, 2 card kits, a pad of purple 4x6 photo mats, 2 rolls of pink/brown ribbon (my fav color combo), a varity of images and flower brads. I will be 'caseing' her idea to altered the frames, these will make great gifts at the holidays.

What A Week........

Wow, what a super busy week. I had a ton of things to get done this week.

I work full-time at a local Middle School and we are preparing schedules for the 2009-2010 school year and it has been busy and overwhelming. You would not believe all the time and work that goes into scheduling students. What classes will the student be taking, what team will they be on, who are the teachers.....etc.

It was my turn to host Bunco this month. I play with 11 other women and we meet the first Tuesday of every month. I had Stuffed Green Pepper Soup and Chicken Tortilla Soup for dinner and several desserts. We have been playing for about 4 years and we all love it. We know that we will see each other at least once a month and we are able to stay in touch and keep up with everyone's families.

This weekend I am going to a all weekend crop with a friend. We are croppin' at a local hotel from 3 pm on Friday till 3 pm on Sunday.

Let me just tell you, I am so excited about this weekend. I have a long list of things to get accomplished and plan on coming back with tons of layouts to share with you.

I spent Wednesday getting my supplies all packed up and ready to go. The hardest task for me is what pictures to bring and did I bring enough. The last thing I want to do is run out of pictures to scrapbook.

Have a great weekend!
