Lil' Cowgirl

Happy day to you, I hope it is going well.
This is my very first Anya from The Greeting Farm card. She is just adorable.
She is part of a monthly card swap that I am hosting on SCS.
Our March hostess for the fabulous Jennifer B. she sent the image, designer paper and the rope.  The rope was difficult to work with, but I think it adds a nice touch to the card.
Remember to smile today,
Tracey

Let's Take A Walk.......

Today at The Stamping Boutique challenge blog, we have a double page layout challenge for you.
This sketch is from PageMaps.com.

Today we are spending the day at Lincoln Memorial Park in Springfield, Illinois. This is such a beautiful park around Lake Springfield.  Jenna was about 3 years old and loved it.  We had such a great time taking in nature.
I found this sentiment in my stash and can't believe how perfect it fits the day and my layout.
The designer papers are all from my stash and they are not even from the same paper line.  I was so happy with the way they all matched.
Take the time to enjoy nature and her beauty.

Let's Go To The Fair~~

Have you ever been to the Pig Races????
Every year we pack up the car and head to the Wisconsin State Fair and LOVE IT!!!
My favorite part are the pig races.
It is so fun to watch these piggies run to finish and get a treat.  They get cheese puffs at the end.
It just makes me giggle.
The little guy in the photo on the top right is swimming, well more like he ran across the water.

This is my family being silly.  We took our pictures in this tiny little car....
that's my mom and dad on the right with Jenna.

Baby Evan, two days old and his first photo shoot.
He is so adorable, can't you tell I am just so proud to be his Auntie!
Hope you have a great day!

One Cool Chick and a Dude!

Ok, these pictures make me smile and giggle everytime I see them.
During the summer of 2008 we took Jenna for her first visit to the Wisconsin State Fair.
She had so much fun looking at all the livestock exhibits.
We spent a long time checking out all the lil' baby chicks and baby cows.
Don't you just love the glasses? She had them on most of the day, takes after her mommy that way.

Baby Evan Logan Flores, oh I just want to hold him and cuddle all day long.

I hope we made you smile.

Just Hanging Out.....

Summer of 2008 - Holland, Michigan
Another layout from a mini vacation Jenna and I took with my mom and dad.
We had lunch at a little park that over looked Lake Michigan.
Have you figured out that Jenna is a complete camera hog, she loves to pose and smile. Sometimes she will even tell me to wait till she gets into the right pose.  See that photo at the top of my layout, this is a perfect example!
The punches are created with tools from Creative Memories and all the supplies were inlcuded in a scrapbooking page kit I received in a swap on SCS.

Enjoy,
Tracey

Are You Copying Me?

Are you wondering what Jena is doing?
During the Summer of 2008 Jenna and I went camping with my parents to Holland, Michigan.  In the downtown area they have all these bronze statues, my dad thought it would be fun to have her copy each one.  Oh My Gosh.....we had a blast and she was so excited each time she found a statue to copy. If you take a close look at each picture, you can see she is doing a really great job.
I used a border kit I received in a swap on SCS.  I love the colors, perfect for summer scrapbooking.
