L-O-T-W Swaps.....I Am So Addicted!!!

Letter of the Word Swaps

I just love LOTW swaps and can't Add Imageseem to get enough of them. I enjoy using them on my scrapbooking pages, they add that unexpected element that I am always looking for. These are letters I created for a swap hosted by StampinGoodDeeds, 'What a Character'. How does a LOTW swap work....you pick a word, then pick a letter in that word and create that many letters plus one extra for the hostess. Once all the letters/words are swapped by the hostess, you will get the whole word back and each letter is different.

P - Princess

A - Fisherman

R - Rockstar

T - Little

K - Rockstar

A - Fairy

R - Superhero

N - Angel

More Cards.....

Card Kits, Card Kits and More Card Kits

This card kit was put together by LauraJean on SCS. She sent all the supplies I used to create this card.

This a card kit I rec'd from KrisitK in a Round Robin Card Kit Swap I hosted on SCS. She sent ALL the supplies to make 12 Christmas cards, including the cardstock base.

I have been organizing my card kits over the last few weeks, this next part is a secret....I have so many I don't know which ones to do first. So my theory is, just pick one from the box and go for it. These are some recent cards I made from my card kits. Unfortunately, I don't know who to thank for most of the kits that I used to create all these cards.

Cards Galore

This is May 2009 card is for a monthly card swap, hosted by mamajacki.

This is June 2009 for a monthly card swap, hosted by mamajacki on SCS.

I made this card for a monthly card challegne, hosted by beachbound on SCS. This is my June challenge that was sent to the group. Included was the pink ribbon, ice cream cone image, brown scallop circle and the piece of designer paper. The challenge was to create a card using all of these supplies, you can alter/cut the items in any way and add what was needed.

The 3 graduation cards were also made from supplies I received in beachbound's monthly card challegne. The hostess sent all the images, the embossed cardstock, the 'thumbs up' clip, the deisgner paper and all the stars, plus some sentiment stickers. I added the black cardstock base.

I spend some time organizing my card kits and found this very simple, yet beautiful kit. The kit was from gardengal on SCS.

This was another challenge from beachbound's monthly challenge swap (do you see a theme, I was a few months behind). The hostess sent the yellow scallop circle, pink ribbon, image and pink cardstock for matting. I just added the larger green scalloped circle.

Too Cute Scrapbook Pages

I just had to share this layout. Jenna has a Barbie Magna Doodle that she is always drawing on, saves on paper...lol. This is just a sample of her artwork from June 2008. These pictures make me smile everytime I look at them.

This layout was made from a scrapbooking page kit that I recently hosted on SCS. Included in the kit was the 4 corner pieces, 8 1/2 x 11 light pink and green cardstock and the designer paper, the white ribbon and the brads and tabs used around the pictures. I added the 12x12 pink background cardstock and "Spring" is from one a LOTW (Letter of the Word Swap). I did a little journaling on the computer. I just love this layout. The kit made it go together so quick.

This is another scrapbooking page kit from a recent swap I hosted. Included in the kit was the 12x12 designer paper, 8 1/2 x 11 light green and yellow cardstock, the ribbon, 4 white brads and the bees and tiny pick flowers. I added the peach (yes it is peach) 12 x 12 background cardstock and 'Cute' is from a swap hosted by StampinGoodDeeds on SCS. Again this page came together so kit.

Long Over Due Update

Hey - Wow it has been a really really really long time since updated my blog. Where did May go? The last few months have been just a whirl wind and I am ready for a nice quiet relaxing June.
These layouts are from May's Scrapbooking Club. My friend Michelle, is a Stampin' Up demo and believe it or not, she does not even scrapbook. She comes up with these amazing and wonderful layouts for cub everyone month. My favorite is the pinwheel layout. I just love these little pin wheels, I am sure to be using them on more layouts and cards.
