For the Love of Card Kits.....

I just love cards kit and I have a whole box to prove it. I have being making it a goal to try and complete a few every week. I made these cards with kits I received in various swaps on SCS. I enjoy card kits, all the supplies you need are at your fingertips and you can complete cards very quickly.

All three of these cards were made from a card kit I received in a swap on SCS. There was no name on the kit, so I can't thank the swapper. I just love this image. I was able to make three great cards with all the supplies she sent.

Here is another challenge for my Crafty Critters blog group. The challenge was to create a card using SCS card sketch 234 and a digital image. I chose a winter image from Dustin Pike's Freebe Wednesdays. I just love this blog, they have great images to pick from and hey they are free.

I am so pleased the way my card turned out. I used non-traditional colors to create a Christmas card. All the supplies were from my scrap pile, except for the card stock base.

Lots of Scrapbooking Goin' On....

I have spent alot of time over the last few weeks getting my photos organized and caught up on some scrapbooking. These are photos from 2008, I am almost done....YEAH.

I recently posted this 2 page layout, now it is complete with photos from July 4th, 2008.

I am in a secret sister card kit swap hosted by babitoons on SCS. The round lasts for 3 months and each month you send your secret sister card kits to make at least 2 cards. Round 3 was for the months of April, May and June.....this is one of the kits I rec'd' from my secret sister, jguyeby. I just love this image and she did a wonderful job coordinating all the supplie to make 2 cards and a cute little box.

Crafty Critters Challenge #7

My blog group (Crafty Critters) had a recent challenge hosted by STAMPIN4TK (Tracy). Her challenge was to create a 3-D item that screamed S-U-M-M-E-R. Summer is my favorite time of the year, I love spending lazy days with my daughter enjoying the warm sunshine and taking a dip in her kiddie pool.
