For my design team card, I chose 'Angels' Wings' and I just love the Christmas tree image that was created to match this image. The first time I ever watched 'It's a Wonderful Life' was two Christmas' ago, I know (eyes rolling) when have I been, it is a classic.
I used SCS Sketch - SC237, coordinating Christmas DP, stickles on the tree and presents, red cardstock, green cardstock base and baubles.
This week's DT card was made with Ildi Co, new Snopals images......check them out here.
This month's special is buy 2 images get one F-R-E-E!!
I used Snopal Top Hat to create my blue holiday card. I love creating holiday cards in non-traditional colors. I used blue and cream DP, white cardstock for the base. The image and dp are matted in shimmery blue matching cardstock, Martha Stewart snowflake punch with a blue bauble in the middle and of course I added some Stickles to his top hat and bow tie.
Jenny at Ildi Co's Creative Challenges has a Christmas Inspiration Challenge, chose any Christmas song and let it inspire you to create a project.
For my DT card I chose 'Do You Hear What I Hear?' and used Snopals Star (check out all Ildi's image, here.) I added stickles to the star and Mommy Snowman's cap, created the sentiment on the computer and used cream colored cardstock for the base and holiday designer paper.
Besure to stop by the challenge blog and submitted your card by 11:59 pm Mountain Time on Wednesday, December 2, 2009.

Today's card is Lolita Purse, she is so fun and perfect for teens. I love her chunky shoes and little purse. The image is colored and blended with watercolor pencils, purple dp and black cardstock, layered flower punches, sparkley ribbon and added purple and black stickles.
Sunshine Stamps has a new line of digi Christmas sentiments, check them out here. When Sunshine issued the DT a challenge to create a card and focus only on the sentiment, I knew exactly which one I would create my card with. For my DT card I chose the 'Some Assembly Required' sentiment. This is my mom's favorite saying during the winter months. She has several winter and Christmas decorations that have this sentiment. I used blue cardstock base, blue and white snowflake designer paper and wrapped it all up like a present with silver ribbon and created a 'gift' tag with the sentiment. The edges are inked in blue and added a few baubles at the corner. I added silver stickles to the snowflakes on the image.
Be sure to stop by Sunshine Stamps store, this month's special is buy 2 or more digi images and receive a FREE Christmas image.
I am so excited about my next Ildi Co. Cuddles card.
This is the first time I used a mono-chromatic color scheme. I think it turned out pretty darn cute.
The designer paper is a Stampin Up 6x6 pack that I have been hording for a VERY long time, used red cardstock, inked the white cardstock behind the striped DP with Ruby Red and added an over-sized Prima and 'Thank You' sentiment.
Can you believe that is is mid-November already!?!
Have you checked out Ildi Co. new Snopals? They are so adorable and perfect for holiday cards.
I used craft brown cardstock for the base, Christmas designer paper (from ye 'ole stash), gold ribbon, red eyelets, a sparkly red flower, scalloped circle punch and a Merry Christmas sentiment. The sentiment is inked in Palette Ruby Red ink.
I recently discoverd this clever little pen that makes snow when heated.
I can't belive that it is almost time for the snow to start falling. A perfect time of the year to stay inside curled up with a good book or get caught up on paper crafts. I could do either one and be oh so happy.
I am getting a head start this year on my Christams cards. I am always running late getting them in the mail, if they make it at all. I made this adorable penguin card from a kit in my card kit stash that is under my craft table and calls my name everytime I set down.
Ildi Co. released their new line of digi images on November 7th........Snowpals are here and they are so cute. This month's special is buy 2 get 1 free. When you place your order just indicate in the comments the image you would like for free.
Your Special Delivery offered 'Franny' for their current challenge. The challenge was create a card or project using Franny. I created a Halloween card, the designer paper and cardstock scraps are from previous cards. Franny is colored with watercolor pencils then blended, I added a little bit of Stickles to her hair and trick or treat bag.
I completed this layout with a border kit that I received from a swap on SCS. Included in the kit were two black check borders, lady bug journaling tag, 4 ladybugs, and two photo mats. I added the some additional empblishments to complete the pages. The 'Love' title is from a Letter of the Word swap, the edges are sponged with Pallete Ruby Red, I added the red ribbon and brads to accent the photos and did a little doodle with the lady bugs. I really like the way this layout turned out.
Janet over at The Corrosive Challenge Blog posted a challenge I could not resist. I love to scrapbook and have been working on an album of a mini vacation our family took during the Summer of 2008 to Kenosha, Wisconsin.
If you are ever in the area, you have to stop by the Jelly Belly Factory, it is a fun tour and F-R-E-E.
I created these pages using a SU set I borrowed from a friend, sorry I don't have the name. The ribbon is weaved through the borders, the pink butterflies are cut out to give the pages a 3-D effect.
When I sat down to color several images my darling daugther, Jenna was just inchin' to help mama color and make cards. She started to hand me markers and was very good at coming up with different color combos. She decided we needed to color one Cuddles pink, to match her own teddy bear. Real men wear pink, right? I created a birthday card she can give to a friend in her Pre-K class.
I used an embossed Happy Birthday background and scraps to complete the card.
