Finally Done!!!

Hi everyone!  Hope you had a wonderful and restful Christmas holiday.  

Ours was wonderful, the whole family was together and we had a great time. 

I am on vacation this week...YIPPEE!!!  I am working on finishing a few projects.  This is a quilt I made a few months ago and today I finally finished hand sewing the binding on it.  Brown and pink is my very favorite color combo and I just love the way this lil' throw turned out. 

 Here is a close up of the design. 

Tonight is girls movie night and I still need to get ready.

Blue Rose Tattoo

Woke up this morning doin' a lil' dance.  My last work day for 2 weeks. 

I just love having this time off and look forward to it every year. 

This is one of my favorite stamps from Sweet Pea Stamps.

Her name is Blue Rose Tattoo. 

She is colored with Copics and Bic Mark-It Alls. 

I added a lil' Stickles to all the blue roses.

Twinkle Toes

YAHOO!!! Only 4 more days of work till Christmas break.  I can't wait. 

I have no plans between the holidays and I love it that way. 

I started round 2 of antibiotics for this sinus infection yesterday.  I hope this works.  I am sick of being sick!!!!

This will be the last Glitterbabe's Challenge for the 2010. 

Our challenge is to use snowflakes and make it glitter on your creation.  

I am very happy with the way this card turned out. 

I was not too sure about the lace, but I LOVE IT!!!!!

Each and every time I sit down at my craft table my daughter wants to play along right with me.

The past weekend she made me this card.  I just love it!!!! 

She spelled Santa Claus, it's kinda hard to read.  She spelled Santa 'Sanda' and Claus "Klas".  Not too bad for just sounding out the words.  She just wrote over it when Daddy told her it was mis-spelled. 

Now a mommy would have left it. Am I right?!?!?

I laugh each time I look at it, his beard it purple and his face is blue.

  This is my daughter, she is always thinking outside the box!

Inside Reads - Love Mom I Know You Have Been Sick Mommy.

This brought tears to my eyes.  I was really sick a few weeks ago with a sinus infection and I am still a little congested.  I am so proud of her!  She is so caring and does worry about her family.  Funny how she is only 5 1/2 years old and knows that Mommy is still a lil' sick.

I have more exciting news to share with my blogging friends. 

Our son, Jon has been accepted to Western Illinois University, Fall 2011!!!!! 

Go Leathernecks!

We are so proud of him.  He is the first in our family to be accepted to an University. 

I have experienced so many emotions in the last 12 hours. 

It is an exciting time and a lil' scary that in no time at all I will be sending my baby boy off to college.

Today I am going to play at my craft table all day.  The weather is terrible!!!! 

My boys will be watching the Bears game so what a better way to spend my day.

It's been awhile since I played with my Sweet Pea Stamps and I sure missed them.

This is Blue Rose Tatoo, I know she's not blue....hehehehe.

I just love the purple and orange color combo. 

The embosed background is an oldie from my stash. 

I added a lil' bit of stickles to the image.

She is colored with my Bic Mark-it Alls and Copics.

Toad-ally Love You!!!

Do you just love this cute lil' froggie?  I know I sure do!

He is from Glitterbabe's Art Shop.

Stef is a wonderful person and has some of the darn cutest digi images.  I
