Puppy Love

Happy Monday!!!
I hope all my friends in the States had a blessed Thanksgiving holiday.
Did you venture out on Black Friday?  I went to Walmart and Target around 9 am on Friday and got everything on my list...including all the doorbusters at Walmart.  YAHOO!!!
The checkout lines were even super short.

Today I am showcasing a new image from Glitterbabe's Art Shop.
awwww......isn't she just so adorable and cuddly.
I used my new (and very first) Nestie! I treated myself and I am hooked and can't wait to buy more.
The edges are inked in brown, used my Martha Stewart leaf punch and the ribbon and dp are from my stash.  The paper roses are from Pizzazz Aplenty, my favorite new place to shop for emblishments.

This week's challenge is to create a winter or Christmas card.
Here are all the dets you will need to play along.

I am using Snow Girl on Ice. Isn't she just adorable?!? You can check the full line of snow buddies, here.
She is looking very stylish for her day of ice skating. Jenna helped me pick out the colors of her clothes. You have to always look your best, even out in the cold.....this is according my 5 1/2 year our daughter.
I add a little bit of pink stickles to her skating outfit.

I sure hope you enjoyed my design today.

Heather has an awesome challenge to get your creative mojo flowing just in time for the weekend.
This week she is having a color inspiration challenge.
OMGosh.....this inspiration is sooooo up my alley!!!!!
I love the colors and the zebra print is da' bomb.

Drum Roll Please........Here is my color inspiration creation.
I used 'So Happy Together', you can find it here.
The the zebra print paper is from my paper stash.  I am a HUGE paper horder....hehehehe.
All other designer papers and cardstock are from my odds and ends stash.
(Yes, I ususally save most of my scraps if they are a decent size.)
I used my Bic Mark-It Alls to color the image and a glitter pen to outline the heart and steam.
Everytime I look at my card it just makes me smile and wanna dance!

Tweet Street

It's time for another Glitterbabe's Challenge.

This week's challenge is sponsored by Nana Vic's Digitals. Oh....Ms Nana Vic I love all your digis.
If you have a grandma or are a grandma or just love digis.....you have to stop by Nana Vic's store
Her digis are so detailed, it is just amazing.
The Glitterbugs were challenged to create an easel card using a digi from Nancy Vic.
I am using Tweet Street which you can find, here.
This is only the second time I have made an easel card and I am just tickled pink with the way it turned out.
The image is colored using Crayola Twistable Colored Pencils, which I just love.

I used a glitter gel pen to outline the details of the image, but it did not photograh very well.
The ivory roses are from Pizzazz Aplently.
Pizzazz Aplenty has everything from flatback rhinestones to ribbon.
The prices are so inexpensive, excellent customer service and shipping was super quick. I will be shopping here again.

Boo Bash

Happy Monday!
Are you ready for Thanksgiving? Do you have any family traditions? What is your favorite dish to eat?

We will be spending the holiday at my mom's with family.
My mom loves to cook and her food is yumm-o!!!
After dinner we will do a craft with Jenna.  Any suggestions?
I have not even thought about what we will do this year.

I always seem to surprise myself with what goodies I will find in my scrapbooking stash.  I recently found these 2 layouts from a scrapbooking class from last year.  The funny thing is the pictures are from Halloween 2007! Oh well, I don't think I will ever be caught up with my scrapbooking.
God Bless,
Tracey

Happy Harvest

Time is just flying by, hard to believe we are quickly approaching Thanksgiving. I'm getting hungry just thinking about a turkey dinner with all the fixins' and mom's yummy apple pie.

The weather here in Chicagoland will be just beautiful today, high of 69 and lots of sunshine. I plan on getting outside during my lunch hour to soak up the sun....I know it won't last.

I used Indian Princess Pattieboop by Pattie's Creations Digital Stamps for todays fall inspired card.
The tulle is 'recycled' from the hat pin packaging, the hat pins are new and had to be dusted off....hehehehe! I added sparkle and glitter to the Indian Princess and the center of the flower embellishments.

Challenges.......

Have a super day.

Happy Halloween

OMGosh.....has it really been this long since I blogged.  I am so sorry for being away!!!  As the saying goes....Life comes at you fast!!! All is well and we are back on track.

Good news, I have been scrapbooking and quilting again and will have some creations to share with you all very soon.

Halloween is my favorite holiday.  I love the cool fall evenings, leaves changing, spider webs, pumpkin carving and lil' ones in costume.  I spent Halloween with my family trick or treating, the weather was perfect! We had a hearty chili dinner and a few beverages afterwards.

My very adorable nephew Evan was Yoda. I know isn't he just too cute!!!
Jenna was Princess Leia, don't forget the bun wig.
Auntie Erin and Jenna made spooky cupcakes....YUMMY!!!
Our jack-o-lanterns, a smiley face that Jenna drew and Princess Hello Kitty.

Have a super duper day!
